Dear Binkie Letter

Dear Binkie,

You have been a true friend to me through thick and thin. You celebrated with me and you were there to comfort me when I was sick or tired. I cannot thank you enough for your companionship. But it is time to say our goodbyes, because my mommy is making me. Please be comforted with the knowledge that I will miss you more then I can say and I know that during dark times to come I will call out for you, even though I know you are gone. Farewell good friend, you will be in my thoughts.

What!?

Such an angelic face.Right? Riiiigghhht. Miss Addison has a thing for hitting when she gets amped up. These days when she is told to stop she looks me right in the eye with a little grin on her face and says, and this is a direct quote, "What, I'm doing nothing." Not a blink, not a waiver, not one sign of guilt followed by more hitting.

Wait....did you hear that too?

Yep, there it is again. The sound of my mother laughing at me!

Oh, How Pretty

Addy is still feeling under the weather so John tried to cheer her up with some jewelry that belonged to his mom.

Addy lit up when she saw the jewelry.

She was running around the house yelling "I'm a princess" and "I'm so pretty".

Mom, I Need Medicine

Addy: Mom, I need medicine.
Me: Why?
Addy: For my tummy.
Me: Medicine is for when you are sick and you are not sick.
Addy: I need to go to the doctor.
Me: Oh, okay Addy...

and at 1100 am up came breakfast and out went dinner. Addy saved the fun stuff for Grandpa Jim today. She still has a 100 degree temp but isn't really out of sorts. She rarely is so it is hard to tell when she is sick ( that is my story and I am sticking to it). Guess I should listen to the smart 2 year old next time.

Just finished watching Ice Age 3. Addy stood for the whole movie,eyes glued to the screen, hand in the popcorn bag. It was my favorite of the three.

Proud Day

Colton graduated from Air Force Basic Military Training
at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas
June 26th
with an 88% on his final exam!

He will be returning to Colorado until he finds out when he leaves for Tech School.
Colton will be studying to be a Crew Chief on (possibly) a C130 type plane.
He is in the National Guard based out of FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Colton has the military walk and talk now and he wears the uniform proudly.
