I am testing an app that would allow me to blog from my phone. Hopefully I could get more blogs uploaded that way. My first test included three pics that turned into three seperate posts with the same text (see below). Oh well, it is still pretty cool.

Three Year Portraits

Addy is going to be three years old in two and a half weeks ( not that I am counting down or anything). I had her portraits done a little earlier then usual because I wanted an autumn background. It is a shame she will be turning three since she has just started to really perfect the terrible two's attitude ;)

We're goin' to the pumpkin paaaaatch!

We were so excited to go to the pumpkin patch last week

Addy and I made up a little song

(okay, modified an exsisting song)

It has become tradition to go to Anderson Farms in Eerie, Colorado to get pumpkins.

I love that place!

They grow a variety of pumpkins and gourds. They also have corn mazes, animals, food, and other attractions.

Addy got her face painted for the first time. She was considering getting a horse or a ducky and eventually settled on the duck. It doesn't look like it in the pictures, but she was very excited about it and was not happy when ducky wore off a couple days later.

Next we went to see the animals, including this 2 day old alpaca baby.

It was warm , windy and sunny that day and Addy lost interest in her sun glasses so most of my pictures are of her making this squinty face

CSU Football

We took Addy to her first football game today.

The Colorado State University VS Weber State game in Fort Collins.

We made it through the first quarter before we had to seek shelter. The rain and wind were too much for us and the little one. It was in the mid 40's with wind and rain. Brrrrr.

After a little time indoors we decided to try to watch the game from a local restaurant only to discover that the game was not televised. Oh well.

Addy enjoyed herself. All the loud cheering and cannons did not bother her (yes there was a cannon). She was so fascinated that it was a bit of a challenge getting her to focus on the 25 rows of steps she needed to climb to get to our seats.

My Little Artist

A month ago I took Addy to Fire It Up Ceramics in Loveland for Paint A Story

The owner reads a story to the kids and then they get to paint a figurine that relates to the story. The story was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Addy painted a pretty fish.

Addy made it about half-way through the story before she became bored and requested to cut to the chase-painting!

After Addy finished painting she spent a little time looking around the shop. She noticed the large dragon painted on one of the walls, looked it up and down, and in her best big girl voice announced "that dragon is crap!"

Thaaaaank you Addy!

I am going to wait a little while before I step foot in that store again.

For John's birthday I bought tickets to the Denver Broncos VS Chicago Bears football game.

Even though it was a preseason game it promised to be an interesting one since the Bears new QB is Denver's traded and unloved former QB.

It was a rowdy game until everyone realized the Bears were going to walk away with the win!

The weekend before the game we all went on a tour of Invesco Field @ Mile High

The tour was awesome! We got to see things we will never be able to afford to see again!
